Will Walter Hood Dies After Short Illness

1872-1940

There died last Sunday at his home three miles from Tompkinsville Mr. Will Walter Hood. He was 67 and had only been sick a short time. Burial was in Brown Cemetery after services led by Bro. C. E. Carter. Mr Hood was widely known and highly respected and an unusually large number of relatives and friends attended the services. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Hood servives her husband, she was Miss Leamon Bradley before their marriage, thre sons of this county are Clarence, Leston and Carl. A daughter Mrs. Clyde Headrick, four sisters are Mrs Johnny (Sallie) Page, Mrs Johnny (Jennie) Propes, Mrs. Fete (Sophia) Shaw and Mrs Mark Nickalson all of Monroe Co. KY.
