THEY "WENT AND ELOPED"
Two McCracken Avenue People Desert Families and Fly
It is reported that Marcus Philpot, 635 McCracken avenue, who has been earning a more or less munificent living by driving a junk wagon for David Yonkelowitz and Mrs. Julia Bratton, 619 McCracken avenue, discovered the other day that they were afinities and hiked away together in search of a more roseate surroundings than those with which they have been encumbered for some time. Julia had two children and a husband. She did not trouble herself about the husband but she sent the children to their grandmother's and told them to tell her that she was going to Danville for the day. Marcus also has a wife and four stepchildren all of whom are left without his strong and tender protecting arm. Where they went is not known. How long the sweet dream of bliss will last is also problematic.
