"She had been bedfast two months and ill several years. She had resided on the Route 5 address for 22 years." "Born Jan. 13, 1892, in Danville, she was a daughter of Ben and Martha Trueman. Her schooling was at Washington Grade School and she was a life resident of the area." "Mrs. Lape was married April 10, 1910, in Danville to Edward L. Lape, who survives." "Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Jewell of Danville; a brother, Dewey Trueman of Marion, Ind., and five sisters, Mrs. Rachael Wagner of Pacoma, Calif., Mrs. Evelyn Mitchell of Taylor, Tex., Mrs. Idelle Gallaher of Mellott, Ind., Mrs. Emma Switzer of Veedersburg, Ind., and Mrs. Helen Brown of Homestead, Fla." "Also, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren." "She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and four sisters." "The body is at the Pape Memorial Home where friends will be received after 4 P.M. today. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Calvin DeVries officiating.
